Photobucket is sooooo great!
I have been experimenting with Flickr and have found the slow speed of uploading photos to be quite annoying. I visited a post that compared photo sharing tools called Top Ten Reviews and read about Photobucket. I decided to give it a try and was amazed at how much quicker and easier it was to upload and edit my photos. Check out my site on Photobucket and let me know what you think. ReplyDeleteI have been using Photobucket for several years, and I like it too. I especially like that you can organize your photos into albums (there I go being Folder Woman again!) and that you can set different privacy controls for the different albums. In my work as a cat rescue person, I've used this feature to share albums of kittens available for adoption to prospective kitty parents.
This past spring I bought customized photo frames to give as favors at our school prom. I set up a Photobucket account just for prom photos, and printed out little cards with the url and login info and attached them to the frames with ribbons so everyone could upload and share their prom pictures. It was quite popular!

Hi Kim, I love sharing photos on online. I have never used photobukcet before, but after looking over your blog and the site, I am very interested. It seems like a great site. I am glad to hear that it is easier and faster than flickr. Quickness is the best feature going!! Especially in our crazy lives :) Michelle
